Teaser trailer will be posted in a few hours, and official announcement will be made during Bethesda's E3 showcase on June 14th. I'll probably be getting a gtx970 for this. Rumor mill is saying that it takes place in Boston.

Oh look, it's another Bethesda game where you run around doing chores for NPCs. Seriously, how come people aren't bored of this shit yet? If I want to do chores, I'll do some in real life.
ditto.. downloaded last night. Took too long to install. Fell asleep watching about why I'm s.p.e.c.i.a.l. Woke up with an erection. Played for 20 minutes before dentist. Playing from 8pm to 1am tonight.
I need to up my leadership.. and gun nut. I didn't know that you could just select those L01, L02 perks. I wished I had upped my intelligence more first. I guess that makes EXP go up faster. I when with strength for the first few and then filled perception. Now, I want to make bigger guys and build out my base, but I need gun nut, leadership, and the armorer one.
the Reba II gun is my favorite now with Righteous Authority as my normal go-to gun.
Diamond city radio is cool and all, but it repeats too often.

WE FOUND OUT YEEEES ITS TRUE THAT GRANDMA PLAYS THE NUMBERS
IDK which ending to go for... I'm leaning institute... but I don't want to have to deal with BOS people constantly trying to kill me. Especially when I use Danse all the time. Weird seeing synths+pallidin danse+ railroad all attacking each other.
Oh, I just did the constitution mission. That was neat/funny.

i'm nowhere near choosing sides, haven't made it to the institute yet. just hit lvl 29 and bought Home Plate.
I think I'm picking the Institute ending. I wish I was aligned with Bunkerhill and Diamond city so I could get trade routes to it. Also the "scavenger" or "scrapper" perk is totally worthless. Don't get that one. The best so far have been riffleman, AP superman, Armor, Gun Nut, and science I guess.
ok... it says I've played for 29 days 2hrs and 58minutes...

I really like Fallout 4 as a game on it's own. But this image is pretty much why Bethesda is kinda half-asses many parts of their own games, compared to when other studios use their tech.
that even makes the settlement stuff worthwhile (it completely wasn't before)
I dunno, I kinda like getting notified when a settlement was under attack and then going there to watch the fortifications make easy work of whatever is attacking. Quad barrel missile turrets ftw.
Automatron is chill. Robot companions aren't as fun character wise but they're good at relentlessly killing things. I made one named after my cat. Took her to the Quincy Quarry to test her combat effectiveness. I charged into the quarry. Lost track of her. All I heard were screaming and explosions for a few minutes. Came out of the quarry and there she was with a pile of flaming raider corpses. Just like IRL.
alright guys, need some thoughts here. I beat dishonored awhile back and decided to give fallout 4 a fair shake. I'm at level 8 now. My weapons suck and I'm not sure how to help out in Sanctuary. Read that the game doesn't basically even start until you're level 30. is that right?
I've been exploring a lot. Went more southern than beantown brewery and discovered Salem today. neat map. I'm sure my build is flawed because I have no idea what I'm doing yet but it's been interesting thus far.
Check your quests. You should go from sanctuary to rocket dinner to liberty city. Then it sort of branches into 3ish different stories that run together. I don't think your level matters, but it's hard to do things on a low level.
Level 20 now. having a good time. I'm about to kill Lorenzo. Seems a lot easier than trying to deal with him at level 20 without a fat man in my possession at the moment. Piper has been my companion- I like her but she passes judgment harshly.
well, I just went into the institute and spoke with father. wasn't having it. fuck the institute. on my way back out now to continue support of the railroad and minutemen.
experience a bug? I'm on ps4 and have encountered several game-breakers so far. pretty pissed about it to be honest. the 'fire support' deal with the BOS is my #1 gripe- Paladin constantly says "We've Got Hostiles, Check Your Fire" or something like that. Thanks to some Japanese kid on youtube, I found out how to enter the garage door of the cop-shop and get what I need. I'd have liked to ally with the BOS.
I guess I'm irritated because it's such a great game with a great location. I've never experienced so many Bethesda bugs before. Only other one I've played from them is Dishonored. Apparently people have been calling on them to fix the issues for a year and a half or whatever to no response. Makes me seriously question purchasing Dishonored II when they can't even fix this shit.

Completely different studio and game engine. There's Bethesda the studio and their parent publishing company Zenimax (aka Bethesda Softworks i think?) that publishes all of those. They also own id studios as of a few years ago, what made Doom etc. Dishonored is by Arkane studios.
I was stuck as a werewolf in Skyrim forever. Took a break for years and then just started over so I don't know if they fixed that. But Bethesda Studio's game engine has had the same issues since...Morrowind?? Embracing the bugs and the messed up ways you can use them to your advantage is part of these games...the "Creation Engine" being the massive clockwork scripted/procedural AI mess by it's nature, they fix one thing and break another, so it will pretty much never be fixed so if you want to ally with the Brotherhood, start a new game

"Dishonored II runs on Arkane's internal "Void" engine, as opposed to Unreal Engine 3 that was previously used in Dishonored. The Void engine is based on id Tech 5" (same as Doom 2016).
My point is don't let the crazy mess that is Elder Scrolls/ Fallout put you off of Dishonored. I only played the first Dishonored, and Doom 2016 (which uses the same engine as Dishonored II). Both were pretty technically perfect (Doom just being straight up perfect). Haven't played Dishonored II yet.
thanks for the info. I only really got back into gaming a couple years ago. the last system I had before that was Super NES in the 90s.

well, you had the best console ever so you didn't miss much. you missed a select few absolute gems. but mostly terrible 90's 3D games. just total garbage. questionable early 00's 3D games, and mediocre late 00's 3D games. A giant swath of games from PS1/N64 to PS3 don't hold up at all today.

I stopped playing when I was stuck is a vampire because it got really annoying
yeah I was reading that. I feel like I'd play more effectively with the controllers I'm used to which is why I went the route of ps4. I could have got it for PC because I have a gaming laptop and a gaming pc all bought within the past couple years. didn't buy them for gaming though- just the quality of the hardware for multi-tasking and watching movies and whatnot.
just completed dima's puzzles (every time I saw synths name I thought disma) - puzzle #5 pissed me off more than anything else in my recent gaming history. whole task 1-5 was monotonous. only blemish so far for me personally in the DLC.
