New site? Maybe some day.
Was considering going to this, since I missed Xibalba on NEMAHF a few weeks ago and was really bummed about that, and since I still have yet to see Nails live.
But i'm broke as fuck. |

Wanna earn $20 the hard way? |

Hivrsmaher ruled quick set, but sounded awesome. I think this is my first time seeing them since the album. Good stuff. |
early graves had a lot of push moshing. But was mostly all head banging |
Hope you fagtouchers got moshed wicked hard during Xibalba. Metal Thursday was cooler. Ladyboys. |
Nails was phenomenal as anticipated, if more people had gone to actually enjoy seeing them that would have been even better |
Early Graves was great and their new singer is a better fit than Mahk (no disrespect to the guy)
I was indifferent to Xibalba until last night. Bands' performance was phenomenal.
Nails was Nails. Touring on one of the best records of the year.
Great show. |
Hivesmasher blew that Xibalba bs out of the water. that shit sucked so bad. sounded like Coal Chamber. |
lol.
I can fully see people's complaints about Xibalba. I would say more sepultura/obituary than coal chamber |
There's definitely a strong Crowbar influence in there, IMO. |
Tightest Hivesmasher set I've ever seen. I definitely like the new Early Graves singer more than Mahk. He sounds like Tomas Lindberg on the new album, which suits a lot of the more d beat material. I can kind of hear why people think Xibalba sounds nu metal, but I hear Disembodied, 100 Demons, Crowbar, Sepultura, Morbid Angel, Obituary, and even a little Incantation here and there. Their first full length is not nearly as dark or metal-influenced; I'm glad they didn't play much off of that one. Nails was awesome as always, and their set was about 3 times longer than the last time they played Great Scott. New album is beastly. |
