The United States of Coporate Control.
I'm a proud citizen of the USCC now |
I'm happy about this. I saw that stat on the news this morning about only having a 23% approval rating for this accross the country... it proves that 77% of our country are either rich(very, very few) or really dumb. (most) Sorry, i know a LOT of people disagree with me cause they don't want "the government" to make all the health decisions for them... because they prefer FOR PROFIT INSURANCE COMPANIES to make their decisions for them. Bravo. |
Death to the West. Alluhu Ackbar! |
Ok I really suck when it comes to interpreting political jargen. Can one of you explain what exactly this bill is going to do? The important stuff. |
USA ON FIRE BURN BURNBURNBURN |
As with any stance, there's pros and cons. We are the only industrialized western country that didn't have universal healthcare. But we also have more than 300,000,000 people living in this country.
I wouldn't call people that oppose this "dumb" ; that's buying into the false rhetoric that the media pumps into us. The stances on this bill, both for and against, just show the growing divide in the false left/right paradigm. It is destroying this country.
Special interests run this country. |

right Jim. I doubt that 23% is correct, sounds like a made up statistic, although most of this country is stupid or rich or both.
The bill will take effect in 2016. MA already has mandatory healthcare so it won't affect MA people. But for those who want it, the Fed will setup cheap insurance exchanges where you won't be denied coverage. The government doesn't make any healthcare decisions. It just prevents healthcare/insurance corporations from denying coverage. (See Medicare - the only reason it was passed was so that insurance companies would not have to provide coverage to the elderly, their biggest customers)
I won't go into a huge rant about how much of a victory this is. Not only does it strengthen the middle class (the key to a sustainable civilization) but it kills the healthcare/insurance/government triad that has always existed and only benefits the super rich.
Anybody clueless about it that cares to know should check out these -

I'm for a lot of it, but against some of the things in the bill.
But, something had to be passed. |
Special interests run this country. |
Then this is a blow to special interests. The right/left paradigm is false. I have opinions on both sides.
Example: Jew Leiberman, the "independent" from CT, opposed the bill because he receives heaps of money from all the insurance and pharma companies in CT. |
The bill is watered down. States preserve the right for abortion decisions, but no federal funding will be issued for abortions. |
A blow in one hand, a transfer of power to the other. |
Only if said abortion is being done because of a rape, or other strange circumstances. Executive order or gtfo! |
And yes, fuck rich people. |
Healthcare is a public service. It should be regulated by the government for the interests of the people, and not for the interests of corporations as it has been.
Does it bring us closer to the goal of gassing 99% of the population? No. |
I don't give a fuck about this whole thing. I'm going back to watching Kelly's Heros |
Abort Christian, Muslim and Jew babies. Fuck it - Hindus, too. Buddhists are cool, though. |
I wish there were MORE abortions. |

At least, it's supposed to be. |

I know one of the biggest complaints is the 985 billion dollar price tag. |
I made that last week and forgot to upload it. |

from CNN.com

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to frag someone in TFC with the name NancyPelosi.
I must say, she looks great for her age. doesn't change the fact she's a bitch. |

I know one of the biggest complaints is the 985 billion dollar price tag. |
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/18/c...-score-on-health-care_n_502543.html
Comprehensive health care reform will cost the federal government $940 billion over a ten-year period, but will increase revenue and cut other costs by a greater amount, leading to a reduction of $138 billion in the federal deficit over the same period, according to an analysis by the Congressional Budget Office, a Democratic source tells HuffPost. It will cut the deficit by $1.2 trillion over the second ten year period. |
I wonder what RTTP's political analyst TROD has to say about this. |
yep, that is what they say! All I know is that a doctor visit billed insurance $250. For the same exact visit to the ER, they billed the insurance $1750 twice. Figure that cost savings out. |
What about the missing 28 trillion dollars? |
I just listened to the minority leader's rant last night. Haha, "sanctity of life".
It really pisses me off when people think "life" starts at conception, and is thereby allowed to have the word "sanctity" attaced to it.
We discussed this stuff in my ol ethics class and got in many heated debates. Sanctity of life. Give me a break. |
I cannot. But it's between the hospital and the insurance company. That will be the same after this bill passes.
I think it's great that the democrats will get a huge apparent backlash from bandwagon voters come election time, and they know this, but they passed it anyway. Bravo. |
my biggest issue right now is that people really believe that the government is going to do something in our best interest. this WILL NOT go as planned, there will be heaps of red tape and bureaucracy that will create nightmares. |

seriously. or the argument that you are aborting "the next Einstein". sorry but for every 1 good person born there are 10000 shitty scumbags born. i'd say it's a fair trade. |

I'll be laughing my ass off when your big white American throat has a tiny Chinese boot crushing it! |

lol and i just heard the State of Virginia is suing the US Govt over this. |
there are a bunch of attorney generals getting together and suing the shit out of the fed for unconstitutionalities in the bill and the processes used to get it passed. |
ya this is gonna be giant clusterfuck of a mess. hooorah. |
Behind closed doors? That's not the transparent govt Obama talked about.
And yes, certain things in the bill are unconstitutional. |
Anyone that thinks this is a good idea is a fucking retard. legit. it has nothing to do with "socialism" or "more government control over us" or about "providing for people who need health care" etc...This country is GOING FUCKING BANKRUPT and our deficit is off the charts in terms of record highs. HOW THE FUCK ARE WE GOING TO AFFORD THIS? Really. Free healthcare for all is GREAT...on PAPER - just like communism. Maybe when we had a budget surplus and weren't in the middle of a recession/depression fall back it would work, but right now? are you fucking kidding me? All it is now is a POLITICAL ISSUE - just like abortion and global warming. Health care became the litmus test to be a liberal...and don't assume I choke on Republican talking points like liberals do on dick, I have no party anymore. No one representts "the people" - they're all scum bags. all this health care debate and process into what it is now just proved is that our government is incompentent and broken...it can't accomplish shit because everyone has too much pride to compromise across the hall. |
...and if it turns out ok and that we can afford it and many many americans benefit - i will eat my words. I am just highly skeptical of our ability to afford this and that it will benefit not only needy Americans but also our healthcare and health industry. I know one way to begin footing the bill - stop international aid to countries that hate us and contries that drag us into shitty situations even though their our ally *cough* isreal...i'lll support this 100% if we stop giving billions to that fuckin shit hole country. |
Fuck da gument khed. |
I, the most glorious and humble RTTP news analyst, declare this an affront to the constitution.
find me the part that says "whitey must pay for blackey's healthcare nuggah"
this is a tax on the middle class for the benefit of the poor.
In truth this is just a survival tactic for the dems, as all those poor, uninsured, undereducated folk probably will now vote for their "savior"
And I hope you all realize this doesn't mean everyone gets cheap healthcare...it means everyone is forced to buy health insurance so those with pre-existing conditions can get healthcare without rates rising too high
I laugh though because MA was the model for this and their rates are projected to rise anywhere from 15-30 percent this year.
again, where in the constitution does the government have the power to force people to buy a service?
if you can find that part in the constitution, in plain writing don't give me any of that implied powers bullshit. |

THIS
also, the supreme court has already whispered its outrage at this bill.
prepare for ten years of the 2nd amendment (dc handgun ban was struck down and may be applied to all states) and the healthcare bill dominating the supreme court's agenda. |
I wonder how much it's gonna cost for the government to sue it self over this which will likely drag out for years? I'm all for the government leavin me the fuck alone! what's with today's liberal democrats? they are a shame to liberals of the 60s that just wanted to be left alone... |
expect a lot of shit to go down today when this is signed.
Apparently he wants to push climate legislation now |

One way to know our healthcare system is fucking bullshit is when a patient is paying $40 for a $5 ace bandage at the ER. Insurance companies need a huge wake up call.
Who gives a crap about how much the country is in debt, we're all in debt, fuck it. Maybe if we stop spending so much money on the military and keeping thousands of soldiers in places there is no conflict... i.e. Germany, Japan, ect.
"As of 2007[update], there are 33,453 U.S. military personnel stationed in Japan" ---- RETARDED! |
Insurance companies just landed themselves about 30 million new customers. Does that count as a wakeup call? |
Obama increased military spending.
I agree though. We need to allocate money to more important things than conflicts which have no interest with th American people. Too bad it's the corporations that run everything. You can thank Cheney and halliburton for misplacing millions of people and costing America trillions. |

We go where we're sent, man. The U.S. military is a global force with hundreds of stations around the world. I support them. We need our military to do what they're doing regardless if the current government is retarded. |
I was thinking about it the other day... idk why we have tons of troops in the #2 (japan), #4 (germany), or #15 (south korea) largest GDPs. 33K troops in japan sounds retarded when they have Gundam. |
Tell me why we need 33,000+ soldiers in Japan? and 56,222 in Germany?
I'm pretty sure WWII ended 65 years ago...
I don't think we do either, but keep in mind those places are training areas too. A lot of National Guard units do annual training in Germany, for instance. |
I think it would make more sense if the national guard trained in the nation that they are nationals of. |
Were in Japan because of Korea.
Keep in mind they HATE our presence there. We rape women and children an pollute the water.
We're in Germany because to protect eastern Europe and Israel from Iran, Russia, China.
We are the global police force-NATO as well. It should be apparent that our military industrial complex is dualy tied into our geopolitical system, which revolves around the G20s plans and global government. |

you sir, are a sheep, but expected as you worship the jew zombie.
you need them to be in countries that are fine without us?
we need them in germany
oh they can has trainzors
yeah...we have every fucking climate on earth within our borders pretty much...I am sure we have plenty of room to train our soldiers here.
the army is meant only for defense and the greatest threat to democracy is a standing army in times of peace (you can argue that we are now in perpetual war but we are war with an ideal not an enemy)
I guess if they stationed the army in your house you wouldn't be saying "hey man we need them where they is"
I am officially more stupid after reading that shit you call a post. Just because words form sentences does not mean you can just throw things together and they'll make sense |
Hey listen asshole, I'm not saying I support the troops wherever they are just because I'm IN the military. I've always supported the military. That doesn't make me a fucking sheep.
Get a clue before you rip into me about the military, dude. |
I've seen a couple of posts this kid makes. He sounds like a grossly under-developed 10 year old. |
"We go where we're sent, man. The U.S. military is a global force with hundreds of stations around the world. I support them. We need our military to do what they're doing regardless if the current government is retarded."
"A lot of National Guard units do annual training in Germany, for instance."
"I'm not saying I support the troops wherever they are just because I'm IN the military"
sounds like those three statements together give the idea that you support the military being in places they don't need to be.
and are you in the military or did you just sign up?
have you even left for basic?
You can't officially say you are in the military until you've graduated basic training |
Dude, I've been with my unit for awhile now and I'm deploying to El Salvador in May. I support the military wherever they are and I don't care where it is. Who gives a shit? How is that affecting your pathetic life?
Hey buddy, do a fucking ritual about it. |

OH HAI HERE THEY ARE! LET THE GAMES BEGIN! |

how is it affecting my life? well, how about increasing taxes, drawing enemies down upon america, putting gdp towards a global empire rather than towards science, education, or jobs
i think there's also a bunch of moral issues too but I'm fairly amoral so ain't no thing.
and for the record, I support the military, just not the government that sends it to foreign lands to line their pockets with gold. You sir, are being used by the elite in Washington to further their goals.
do a soliloquy about it why don't you. |
I've always supported the troops. I don't support our hegemonic agenda.
Honestly, I'm only in the Army to garner the benefits offered to me. I would be a fool not to take advantage of what they have. Free schooling and a chance to gain a great career by being automatically ahead of my competitors. Sounds asinine but it's true. I want to be ahead of everyone. Military experience is a good way to do that. I want to be a NH state police officer and having military training and time in service helps further that along quicker. |
Don decker needed health care.
And a 12 step program. |
When will this go into effect? Government telling me I must get insurance or face a gigantic fine seems pretty fucked up to me. I don't see how that is going to help poor people who can't fucking afford it. This country needed healthcare but not like THIS, and especially not right now. You people supporting this are mindless sheep. |
I think people with healthcare should sparkle in the sun. |

Mandatory health insurance? Massachusetts was the prototype for this and it has clearly worked out SWIMMINGLY! |

Retarded. We citizens get to weigh in on where the USG is sending soldiers because WE HAVE TO FUCKING PAY FOR IT. Support the troops doesn't have shit to do with blindly oking the things they're ordered to do. Get perspective, plz. |

I think they said that in the 70s too.
I did hear news that the UN wants to come out with currency. |

Already did. You didn't see them unveil the new currency last year?
If not, I don't blame you. The news doesn't cover it.
