New site? Maybe some day.

top again. pay attention to this! |

I heard Michelle Pfeiffer is playing drums for Vindicator. If that's not reason enough to go to this show, I don't know what is. |
Sean Penn is our new lead guitarist |
Man, if I still lived in New England I'd go to this shit, sounds like fun. |
COME ON WORCESTER. COME PARTY |

yes, tonight.
I'm going to try to come to this. |
waiting for the show to start. I think there are 2 missing bands still. shaping up to be a cool show. yeah! I hope is doesn't run too late. |
ok, first band down. no idea who he was, but it was a dude with a laptop screaming over 8-bit songs. a few covers including power rangers theme, journey's don't stop believing, and slayer's angel of death. I'll find out who it was laterz. |
tinnitus: they were pretty cool. Sort punkish songs. The singer kept saying their set was short, but it was the songs that were short. Not really the set. They play 12-15 songs. Some of them were 3 minutes, others were 10 seconds. The set had a lot of the audience members stomping around or shoving people. That was excellent to see. Yeah, it's harder for me to get any pictures, but who really cares. It ups the fun level. They played an infect and seige cover. The infect cover was probably their longest song. I find that hilarious. when they played their song about bacon, I nervously looked down at the "cop" looking thing around my neck. oops! I smell bacon on me. extend palms, receive bacon!
if you have to piss at this place, do it. I was leary, but wow... there are 3 clean stalls right up the stairs! |
rowdy ones, the: now that was a short set. Punkish thrash and it took them 20 minutes to set up, play, and are now packing up. The crowd again moshed around. Seemed like a lot of the kids on the floor were the tinnitus members. Good stuff though. |
exmortus: these guy are the whole reason I got off my ass to hit this show. No offense to the other bands (especially ones that post here). But when I saw exmortus on the bill, that made this show mandatory. The crowd has thus far been very enthusiastic about all the bands. I hope that carries over to these guys.
The set was utter chaos. There were 2 guys with them that were just keeping the crowd off the band. After 20 minutes, they let their guard down and some rush of fighting dudes wrecked the drum set. When I sa wrecked, they destroyed it. The drummer played the lst 3 songs with a 2 piece kit. The crowd was insane too. Including a 5 minute sword in the stone type battle with a baby's head on the end of a stick. They seem pretty laid back and didn't sweet the broken drums of the broken guitarhead. |
vindicator: I wasn't familiar with their music but it was pretty good. The crowd got a touch smaller for them, but still there was a lot of people mosh. somehow they were able to put the drums back together again in no time. Thankfully they didn't take the band out er... Besides once. Again, they seemed pretty chill and recoverred quickly. The infamous pillows came out strong for them. Epic cushion fights commenced. For the first time ever at this venue, I saw some small piece of parental supervision. The gil that books here went on the mic and yelled at people to stop throwning the pillows cause they broke all the light fixtures last time. The only thing she didn't use was the word "respect". Something that I wished the kids here would get for this place at EVERY show. Thus far, the show tonight has had buckets of what I would honestly call respect and restraint for this club. Awesome to see. I hope that this spreads to all the shows so this venues stays a viable place in worcester. One thing that worcester doesn't have that providence does is the og punks who knew what was what back in the day and lived through the dry times when there was no place for people to set up DIY shows. Damn, end of rant. Er.. The band was güd n stuff. Yeah. |
I guess the rowdy ones played after razermaze and I left before they came on. I asked around and didn't know. the band that I called the rowdy ones.. er.. I have no idea who they are then. |
If you have not heard, John Powers(Computer Violence) backpack was stolen during The Rowdy One's set. If any information is heard about it would be a great help. |
