november 5 1955: not really much to say. I like this band and somehow I made it to the show by the time that they were on. They had a guy from the carrier filling in.
NECESSARY ROUGHNESS: this was basically the reason that I came. They were really good, but not what I expected at all. I was thinking they would sound more like cheech, but it was a lot like old since the flood. Their sound is really polished. Considering this was their 2nd show, they are going to be a powerhouse at some point.
flesh and blood: much better with matt imho. Probably cause matt rules. They had their family there. Even so there was tons of moshing for them. Luckily, all the mom's didn't get hit.
Can’t Stand Losing: not too many people there to enjoy them. Not sure what was up. I think f&b's family members all left. That would explain themajority of the attrition. They still played well, but it was just missing the mssive amount of dancing that they used to have going on.
dead hearts: they got a lot better from what I remember. Reminded me a lot of the carrier. There was once again, no one really there. One guy who works at gloria jeans danced and that was about it.
full blown chaos: the show was sort of a let down people-wise. That is until FBC went on. At that point, it got ugly. The room filled up with tons of people itchin for a moshin time. As the songs went on, more and more of the rollerderby girls were getting tossed around, more people were screaming into the mic, and more things began to fly. I stepped to the back of the room, sound board area thinking "who would mess with the sound board?" 15 seconds later, 5 big pieces of man there went crashing through all the tables and into the souund booth. I moved the laptop out of the way. I ran back to the front and saw chairs, trashcans, and table wars. Amazing stuff. And by that, I mean amazing that no one was sent to the hospital with all the craziness that went off. |
