That album was awesome, after that though, I gave up.

some of you people havethe most skewed perception of this great band. It' a shame. Godsmack and Rush? What? Try Sabbath and AC/DC if looking to pigeonhole. Aside from 3 songs out of their entire catalog, this band rocks my nuts and always will. Fuck the haters. You guys are listening wrong.

I was going to compare them to coheed, but clutch came first. they are a nice mixture of both shit and piss. when I saw them, they were so gay that I wanted someone from mayhem to beat them to death in a park.

clutch is good.

The first time I heard Clutch they opened for Sepultura at Lupos'. The old Lupo's. Fudge Tunnel and Fear Factory played. Good show. Clutch had a great performance. But, shortly after a couple more albums and a few times more times seeing them I lost interest. Pure Rock Fury sucked.

i fucking HATE Clutch. they are awful. one of the worst live performances i've ever had to endure.

I like Clutch. I like stoner rock. I don't see how they're nu-metal. I also only really like two of their albums.

Nah....they fucking rock. I don't care much for this latest album but anything from Impetus to Pure Rock Fury I fucking love. Their music is energetic and unique as hell and nobody anywhere in the music world has a knack for writing lyrics like Neil Fallon. Especially death or grind lyrics that are constantly about or along the lines of the same old boring shit....don't get me wrong I love Deathmetal....but Grindcore as a whole is mighty tiresome bullshit noise.

Clutch at least tells a pretty far out story song to song and album to album. However, I need not justify my decision as to their rock worthiness any longer, as it will only fall on deaf, stupid, and ignorant ears.
