toggletoggle post by pam   at May 3,2007 3:54pm
Oh wow...that's amazing.

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at May 3,2007 3:56pm
It's been removed, but I emailed back saying "yeah, it's Megadeth...No "a". haha

toggletoggle post by largefreakatzero at May 3,2007 3:57pm
Another case of the man keeping a nigga down.

That is funny they are unable to spell Megadeth correctly.

toggletoggle post by pam   at May 3,2007 3:57pm
You sir, just climbed my ladder of respect.

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at May 3,2007 3:59pm

You should've said "I was leaking "MEGADETH" not "MEGADEATH", there's a difference".

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at May 3,2007 4:03pm
yeah, I know. too late now!

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at May 3,2007 4:06pm
That would be hilarious if they actually only processed their copywrites for megadeath, and it were perfectly legal to jack their shit.

toggletoggle post by Josh_Martin at May 3,2007 4:06pm
Wasn't there a MegadeAth in the 60's? I wanna say they were pre-Pink Floyd or something but I'm not sure.

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at May 3,2007 4:12pm
Yeah, it was the Meggadeaths, IIRC.

toggletoggle post by the_taste_of_cigarettes  at May 3,2007 4:13pm
to be totally frank, all you had to do was write back "I am not hosting any Megadeath" and be done with it. Legally, it has to be said to you EXACTLY right or it doesn't count.

they would have noticed after like the first week he didn't take it down....idk man there starting to screw people for pirating music and its super fucking lame

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at May 3,2007 4:20pm
Rather than have my hosting yanked, I just complied.

toggletoggle post by Archaeon at May 3,2007 4:24pm
How the hell did they find that

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at May 3,2007 4:27pm
Not sure.

toggletoggle post by Archaeon at May 3,2007 4:33pm

Well that's what I mean, they would need to resend him a letter with the right spelling before they could act.

In reality, he isn't hosting any MegadeAth, he is hosting Megadeth

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at May 3,2007 4:42pm
Again, I'd like to keep my website, thanks.

I am sure they have people scouring the net to look for shit just like this , and from there it is pretty easy to trace an IP and find out who is hosting it I would think.

toggletoggle post by MadOakDevin  at May 4,2007 3:27am
yeah, i'm sure the lawyer/intern that wrote this cares about the spelling of megadeth.

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at May 4,2007 7:42am
Nobody said she cared about it, I just said it was hilarious that the OMGLEGAL email I got didn't even have the band's name spelled right.

You can tell they went to great lengths to sound professional, and spelling the band they are reprizenting wrong is very unprofessional.

This is called irony, which of course is sometimes funny in American culture.

toggletoggle post by horror_tang  at May 4,2007 8:27am
Email those to me and I'll host them for you or send me a link to a "secret" page and I'll download them and share them again.

I find it all the more amusing that it's roadrunner records...they used to be a real label ya know...
