Matt Damon, Marky Mark, Anthony Anderson, Alec Baldwin doing drama, and a washed up Martin Sheen? If it's any good, it's not going to be because of the cast.

This movie was fuckin faaaaaantastic, total masterpiece
In large part due to the cast actually, Leonardo DiCaprio especially was a masterful choice for the role

Mark Wahlberg is great. The surprising thing about this movie for me was how brilliant and hilarious a lot of the dialogue was, definitely one that's gonna be quoted for a long time...and he got most of the best lines. The accents made me feel sorta homesick, haha

I admit I'm not a leo fan..but he was fuckin awesome......amazing dialog...I am betting the dvd will have a lot more blood and coke and nudity. The only fact that pissed me off was that the girl got pregnant..why did they do that? If they did do it..then fuckin expand and say that it was leo's since matt damon was supposedly impotent. I'm betting the dvd will expand on it. One of my favoriote lines was uttered by jack nicholson....abt the marshes.

the accents were the worst part. or should I toss in a randomly over acted pAHt or irash accents with the word cAH tossed in. once you get past the bursts of random accents that are like a cheese grater on you ears cause they are so terribly overacted, the movie fucking slayed. I give it a 9 out of 10. It looses a point cause of the bullshit about 10 minutes from the end. you'll know it when you see it. the movie is almost 2 movies in one with two different "acts". leonardo's best acted movie (and I hate him).
there are so many unexpected shocking parts AND you know scorsese saved 1/2 of the story for the DVD quad disc with 15 different endings.

I lol'ed and so did the guy in the movie..and then jack yelled "don't laugh".....classic

carina gave the thing up about the last 10 minutes. bullshit clique craptrap. it will make sense in the DVD I hope.

Fantastic flick. It's no Goodfellas but enthralling nonetheless. That was Matt Damon's best performance ever. Good music, good pacing. Solid movie. But is it me or did Leo look like he wanted to cry in EVERY scene he was in?

Can we just let it be known that its OK to like Leonardo Dicaprio now? Titanic was ten years ago and he's no longer a teenage heart throb...He's a bad ass actor.

just got back, and fucking wow that was amazing. Defenitly one of the best movies of the year, and one of the best movies in a long time. Great acting, script, story (albeit a remake of Internal Affairs), soundtrack. The accents did get a little annoying at times, and yes Leo did look like he was about to cry in almost every scene. Maybe that's what Scorsese wanted out of him? Who knows until the DVD comes out next year

went and saw it last night, i thought it was a very good movie.

growing up in that specific area and knowing who all the characters were based on in reality made it even more fun.

overall sweet movie, and I will be purchasing it immediatly when it hits dvd... hopefully in an unrated version.

Mark walburg (sp?) was the best character in the movie (besides jack n.) i liked this movie also. i admit the accents were bad, and jack n. had such an anti-climactic death. but i didnt expect the ending and not many directors/producers are willing to do movies like this anymore.

seriously, this movie owned. the accents were shitty at times and if you notice the girlfriend doesn't talk like a masshole for about half of the movie. other than the accents i'd say this movie was incredable. i made my girlfriend see this with me last night and even she liked it. does anyone else want to join the mob after seeing a movie like this? when i went into the bathroom after i just wanted to smash one of the guys at the urinals faces into the wall so bad.

besides the accents this movie was awesome. the girlfriend only does the accent for half of the movie. mark walberg seriously embodies badass in this movie. does anyone else get strong urges to join the mob after seeing a movie like this? when i walked in the bathroom after the movie i wanted to go up to someone at the urinal and smash their face into the wall...

I just saw this, Seekonk is still running it. Best movie I've seen in a long, long time. The shitty fake Boston accents couldn't even ruin it for me. Outstanding.

this movie killed! finally got around to watching a bootlegged copy the other night. loved everything about it, really couldn't find anything to bad mouth other than the leo and the broad slipping up with dialog.
imho, the best leo film other than this is him with dinero when leo was like 10 in the movie "this boys life", that's a great one.

i watched the first hour and due to other activites.. was completely lost... i haven't had time to finish it yet.. i'm told it all ties in the end..

I really liked this movie. But can I say two things about movies that have to do with Boston?

1. Why is the whole world (i.e. Hollywood) convinced that Boston is nothing but Irish mafia? Is Southie the only place in Boston worth writing a screenplay about? I walk through south boston every day, and I see more black people than anything. Food for thought.

2. Can anyone in Hollywood do enough research on Boston to realize that not every single person has a crushing Boston accent? I've got an accent like anyone else here, and I'm into it. But not everyone does, and those that do have varying levels of it. And let me tell you what else. A police psychologist who is obviously considerbaly educated is not going to have the same accent as a traffic cop from southie.

there are hardly any black people in mass... thats y there are so many racists.. kinda sux

i just watched this movie. It fucking killlllllled. I take back everything i ever said about DiCaprio. I thought that maybe Catch Me if you Can was a fluke but after this movie i would definitely classify him as an awesome actor. I was totally blown away.
