New site? Maybe some day.
i think they aren't bad,yet |
new CD is better than the last one. |
king is a good song. The blak n'roll soun rulz |
sorry, I was thinking rebel extravaganza as their worst.
their best was nemisis devina |
Oh yeah Rebel wasn't great. |
I've liked all their CDs. Nemesis Divina was the best. Rebel was alright, it had this nice filthiness to it, awesome lyrics, and the best title ever. |
My favorite part of Satyricon is the filthiness. |
i was looking at a picture recently i took at the new jersey metal fest i went to and i can see a merch table in the back ground with a nemisis divina shirt for sale. Im still kicking myself for not seeing it then , hard to find, great album |
i used to, but not anymore. |
I like the music of satyricon |
I still like them, the old them. |
I just hate their video. Complete with posing and emo girls (and bois). |
some of the newer stuff i've had difficulty getting into, however Rebel Extravaganza is fucking fantastic, it takes many listenings to grasp it. but you cant deny Dark Medieval Times, The Shadowthrone or Nemesis Divina. those are untouchable. |
I appreciate the latest two records for their simplicity and effectiveness. I mean it's fishy that the timing for this simplicity coincided with their signing to a big label, but once they put out their 'Load' or 'Cryptic Warnings' I'll be the first to vomit all over it. |
hahahaha its beginning to brush that surface, and i really hope that they dont plummet over the edge. |
We'll probably know next album. It'll either go over that edge, or they'll revert to their grim and kvlt selves ala Shadowthrone. |
that would be most excellent. |
not the plummeting into stardom part |
