hell fuckin yea, I'm going to this!
no, seriously I am, i love this band. Their last cd was kinda meh, but Payin the Dues and High Visibility (especially) kick fucking ass. Anyone who likes awesome, revved up Rock N Roll check these dudes out. The singer was the drummer Entombed. |

cool. who are they touring with? |
doesnt say
doesnt matter
i should get War On Our Shores on this bill..hell we have rock riffs |
Their last two albums were pretty god awful, but hopefully they'll be throwing in some older stuff. |
are you talking about high visibility? thats my favorite! |
yeah, I really like this band too. awesome. |

he's probably talking about "By the Grace of God" and "Rock 'n' Roll is Dead"
while they aren't up to par with their previous albums, i think they are far from awful. By the Grace of God was a pretty good album, along the lines of High Visibility, which was a step in a different direction from Payin' the Dues, Supershitty to the Max, and Grande Rock. Rock 'n' Roll is Dead, is probably their worst effort yet, but it DOES NOT suck.
i'm curious to hear Nicke's new death metal project that i heard about a few months back |
BTGOG was pretty lame compared to everything else, i didnt even know they had one after that |
Well, "sucks" is obviously an overstatement, but it does sound more like a really bad Hives album than anything else. But as far as Swedish pop rock goes, it's miles better than the new Millencolin. |
i'm definitly pulling my balls out at this show |

I'd so be at this if I didn't have a shitty headcold and no muffler on my car... |
that show is below TTs and it's hella loud. |
and there are a lot of old people in line |
the show kicked serious ass. the Hellacopters are an amazing band.

the show was at the Axis, how could it be below TTs?
oh oops, I thought this was at the middle east... my bad.
I've been telling people that the opening bands sounded terrible. |
Did you go? How was The Sword?
Wish I hadn't missed this. |
I missed Nebula which pissed me off but I've seen them a few times before so fuck it...
The Hellacopters kicked out the jams, literally (MC5 cover!) and sounded great.
Fuck the Axis though...I would have had to leave work and go directly to the show to see Nebula (started at 6:30!)...

Nebula was alright. i've seen them a couple times. i like em, but i don't really need to see them all the time. and they did a Bowie cover which was pretty sweet.
the Datsuns kicked ass. probably not a band that many of the people on this board would listen too, but they are a pretty sweet rock band from New Zealand (i think they played ozzfest a couple years ago). i have their cds but it's been so long since i've listened to them, i just kinda forgot about them. but they delivered a kick ass set that i wasn't expecting.
first time seeing the Hellacopters. they never tour around here! but they were awesome. most of the stuff they played was from High Visibility, By the Grace of God and Rock n' Roll is Dead. plus the MC5 cover was killer. i had an awesome time. good show
