New site? Maybe some day.
Do you play guitar, bass or drums? Do you enjoy metal? Are you sick of these question already?!?!
Well, I'm a local guitarist looking to form a band or at least jam with fellow metalheads.
Influences are: Cephalic Carnage, Carcass, Behold the Arctopus, Neuraxis, Morbid Angel, Blind Guardian, etc etc etc. I also listen to and incorporate Jazz, Classical and Celtic music into my material, so I'm a little out of the norm.
Please be between 18-24 and have half way decent equipment.
*E-mail notehead@easy.com if interested.
P.S.- I'd prefer meeting up with people that are in lower Bristol/Plymouth county, the MA/RI border or on Cape Cod, but there are always extenuating circumstances... |

Forgot to mention: No egomaniacs! Been there, dealt with that, cut their throats. ;) |
Where are all the S.E. Massachusetts people on this forum? Dead and buried? |
Bump for All Hallow's Eve........MISCHIEF DAY! |

If only I could uproot and move to NH :( |
Sorry man, I checked out your myspace page and I can't say I'd wanna play any of those songs. I'm not really looking to do any full on stoner/doom metal, but thanks anyways. |
Final bump, then I'll go back into hibernation. |
I'm starting a ct band looking for a 2nd guitar player and bass player, already have drummer guitarist, practice in west hartford, e-mail rickwaristhebest@yahoo.com if interested. |
It might have helped if you added info like what kind of influences you have, but it wont help the fact that I can't travel to CT each week. Too far, oh well... |
Any interest in collaborating on some folk metal influenced shit? I'm trying to get my recording thing jump-started, and to hopefully put a band together around it. |
I havent really heard too much folk metal, I guess the closest thing is Vintersorg, which I have enjoyed listening to in the past. Can you link me to any samples/mp3s of the sound your looking to head towards?
The riffs I create happen to be very very linear, so folk metal may work. Would you want to keep it strictly folk metal or mix that genre with a little of others? |
