it was cool finally getting to meet Mike (massliveevents) and talk for a bit.
On my way to the elks lodge, I went to just about every single other place that wasn't the elks lodge. here are the directions:
face the door to the middle east upstairs, then turn 180 and walk straight.
transistor transistor: um... is there anyone from the original band left besides the guitarist? anyhow, they sounded awesome. it's like post punk meets high on fire. great stuff. anne should get them to play a show in PVD. it would go over very well.
circle takes the square: they were the reason I decided to go to the show. they sounded so good. I honestly never heard them before. I heard a bunch of different things in their music. even some of the make up.
fear before the march of flames: the crowd actually started moving around for them. it was hard to stand still when there is a freaking light show going off. that was pretty cool. the singer had a light box to stand on (ala DEP). I need to get a cd of theirs so I know some of their songs.
at first, I felt akward... since it wasn't a hardcore or metal show...
but after a few tracks of TT I got into the groove.
best picture of the night:
I knew when I snapped it, before looking that it was.
