Right, this country is too big, and nobody ever seems to mention the glaring federal defense spending/military policy and efficiency problem. Their history and culture is entrenched and contributes to their overall well-being, where this country was started by an ogliarchy not too long ago. I was talking about this with the Swedes in Suma - Massachusetts is as close as you get to Scandi socialist democracy in the US. Props to MA for staying consistent and keeping the GOP out.
