She is light years ahead of any other female performer. Her previous Icelandic punk/jazz/rock bands Tappi Tíkarrass, KUKL, and The Sugarcubes kick ass too. If you're a Bjork virgin, listen to these two albums if you care about talented female singers with artistic integrity at all.
