there is nothing in the consitution against socialism, and the founding fathers WERE extremely liberal. this country is founded on liberalism. socialism did not exist for half of this countries existance and was only demonized post-world war 2 because we didn't want russia gaining more power than the U.S., hatred of liberalism IS hatred of america. it is anti-american.

they were never the worlds power in europe. muslims took over as far as constantinople in turkey and made that city and country islamic and changed the name to istanbul, that's about as far and as much power as they ever got in europe.

as i said it wasn't until they formed the islamic empire that they got anywhere into europe. also for the first couple hundred years, the islamic empire was the center of academia in the world. most of the great advances of man during that period were made by muslims in great islamic schools. it wasn't until much later that they fell into their current dark ages. europens/christians also went through a dark ages if you recall.

well, islam is the 2nd biggest religion on earth. they have enourmous influence. religiously speaking i think they have way greater influence than christianity has. you don't see die hard christian soldiers the world over.

i don't think their goals are justified, i think islam is just another corrupt empire gripped by a struggle for power and domination, and i am VERY glad they do not have world domination as i have absolutely no intentions of living under sharia law. but to ignore the faults of the U.S. simply because islam is fucked up is ignorant as hell. being an asshole is not ok simply because someone else is a bigger asshole. and globally speaking the U.S. is the bigger asshole. saudi arabia is not opressing me.

also remember "america" is many things to many people. to some it is our government, to others it is our populace, to others it is our culture, to others it is our corporate culture (the real power source), to others it is our technology, and hating aspects of america does not make one anti american, especially given the ideologies that founded this very country. see something wrong, try to fix it, to create a better place to live.
